Hanoi Ranking Sixth Among Asia’s Best Tourism Cities

Hanoi has been ranked the sixth-best city for tourists in Asia in an annual survey conducted by the US�s well-known Travel and Leisure Magazine.

The Vietnamese capital, built in 1010 under the regime of King Ly Cong Uan, the founder of the Ly Dynasty, visa han quoc scored 82.09 points.

Thailand topped the survey with Bangkok and Chiang Mai taking the first and second positions with 86.11 and 85.62 points.

The ancient Lao city of Luang Prabang, 425 km north of the capital Vientiane, was ranked 10th with 79.92 points.

Kathmandu in Nepal, Kyoto in Japan, Hong Kong and Beijing in China, and Udaipur and Jaipur in India rounded off the list.

The Italian city of Florence was named the world�s best city, followed by Rome, also in Italy, and Bangkok. (VNA)
